Soil and Water sample Analysis:
Every year, Tobacco Board organizes collection and analysis of soil and water samples of registered tobacco growers at free of cost. Basing on analysis results, Board advises growers on suitability of soil and irrigation water for tobacco cultivation and on usage of correct doses of fertilizers for improving quality and yields. The details of soils samples analyzed during 2023-24 crop season in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka utilizing the services of soil testing laboratories of other institutions/organizations are as follows:

The Board is facilitating insurance coverage to the registered FCV tobacco growers under Group Personal Accident Policy (GPA) and their barns and tobacco stocks through Standard Fire and Allied Perils Policy every year in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
