Participated in the Second Meeting of the Study Group on "Economically Sustainable Alternatives to Tobacco Growing", held in Mexico City during 17-19, 2008 on behalf of Government of India, New Delhi and presented a paper on "Alternative Crops/Cropping Systems to Bidi and Chewing tobacco in India".
Major Tobacco Projects:
A pilot project on "Alternative Crops/Cropping Systems to Bidi and Chewing tobacco in India" funded by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India with an outlay of Rs.2.17 crores is being handled as Principal Investigator during 2008-2013.
